What to Wear / Bring

Clothing

  • Apex leotard.
Not just a sports bra without a leotard.
  • Apex shorts or leggings.
    They can compete in either.
  • Apex windbreaker for warmups.
Optional but recommended as it can get cold in the winter meets.
  • Apex backpack to hold water, snacks, and merch during the meet.
Optional but recommended - we customize it with their name and our logo.
  • Bra straps must be black or transparent.
To match our leotards. They are allowed to be visible.
  • Ankle/wrist braces are allowed if needed.

Jewelry / Nails

  • Nail polish is allowed, as are small tattoos.
  • No jewelry (bracelets, anklets, etc.).
    • Stud earrings are allowed. No other earrings.
    • No tape allowed for earrings.
    • Anklets/bracelets that can't be removed may be taped over.

Hair

  • Braid it with lots of spray/gel so it can't move a millimeter and nothing sticks out.
  • Side braids recommended.
Not center, as it can interfere with forward/backward roll skills.

Bring a Bag With

  • Hair brush, hair ties, and bobby pins.
In case we need to do a quick touch-up.
  • Snacks and water bottle for between events.
