Clothing: - Apex leotard (not just a sports bra without a leotard). - Apex shorts or leggings (they can compete in either). - Apex windbreaker for warmups (optional but recommended as it can get cold in the winter meets). - Apex backpack to hold water, snacks, and merch during the meet. (optional but recommeded - we customize it with their name and our logo) - Bra straps must be black (to match our leotards) or transparent. They are allowed to be visible. - Ankle/wrist braces are allowed if needed. Jewelry/Nails: - Nail polish is allowed, as are small tattoos. - No jewelry (bracelets, anklets, etc.). - Stud earrings are allowed. You may also tape over anklets and such. - If an earring can't be removed (e.g., it's a new piercing), tape over it instead. Hair: - Braid it with lots of spray/gel so it can't move a millimeter and nothing sticks out. - Side braids recommended (not center as it can interfere with forward/backward roll skills). Bring a bag with: - Hair brush, hair ties, and bobby pins (in case we need to do a quick touch-up). - Snacks and water bottle for between events.
