Competition Gymnastics Team
The Apex competition team is for gymnasts who are ready to train hard, compete — and win. Apex gymnasts bring home top honors year after year, including medals at national competitions.
No prior experience is required. Every gymnast joins through a friendly evaluation with a coach.
What Team Training Is Like
Just 4 to 6 gymnasts train with each coach — a national industry record — so every athlete gets focused training and individual attention. Practices cover bars, beam, floor and vault, with routines built for competition.
Team gymnasts also get some free private lessons: extra one-on-one coaching to master skills faster. After those, private lessons at Apex cost much less than at most other gyms.
How Gymnasts Grow
- Skill-based progression — Apex’s own system lets each gymnast advance at their own pace and move up when they are ready.
- Competition experience — meets through the season, with first-place finishes across years of competition.
- Confidence and friendships — training as a team builds brave, hard-working athletes who cheer each other on.

How to Join the Team
Team starts with an evaluation. Schedule an evaluation through the free class form, and a coach will see where your gymnast fits. Newer gymnasts often start in Recreational Gymnastics and move up from there, but any child can also ask for an evaluation to start team right away — recreational classes are not required first.
