What Open Gym Is Like
Open gym is relaxed free play on the same equipment the gymnasts train on — bars, beams, floor, vault and more. Kids can swing, tumble and try new tricks at their own pace, and grown-ups are right there to watch and cheer.
The whole family is welcome, brothers and sisters too. It is a great way to spend a Saturday evening, and a friendly first look at the gym for families who are new to Apex.
Kids who land a new trick at open gym often want to learn more. That is what Apex classes are for: small groups of just 4 to 6 kids, expert coaching, and fun that comes first — in gymnastics, cheer, ninja and dance.
Parents Stay the Whole Time
Open gym needs a parent or guardian with the children for the whole visit — this is not a drop-off.
On your family’s first visit to Apex, a parent also signs a short waiver when you arrive.
